Swiss Stylin

ERHART has landed in Switzerland! We found a long lost cousin who kills it on the hill. Raphael Erhart and his Jibbing Generation Crew rep it hard back home in the swis alps. Check out Raphael repping a little of his name as he kills it on the streets in the old country. Not all Erharts are lost, but we all look good!

The greatest China story ever told!

If you have ever meet an Erhart, you will probably be struck by their worldliness by the time the conversation has closed. The Erharts have lived and traveled all over the world, some get lost, others lose their keys. Where they are going and what they are doing can vary as the places they have been, but one thing is for sure, they do it in style. The Erhart look, bringing smiles, is seen on all corners of the earth.
Most recently, an Erhart traveled to the Hunan providence in China. Joining other designers from Portland, Erhart shared the runway at the Chinese Fashion Week. These designers were chosen because of their use of sustainable practices, such as local production and vintage material. The Chinese loved it! We loved it, and most importantly, there are cool photos of the trip!
After showing at the Chinese Fashion Week, getting on the cover of the local newspaper, and having a great time, the clothes were taken to the schools. Erhart was shared to the youth of China in a mini runway fashion. Now that I think about it, this isn't the first time an Erhart was spotted in a classroom overseas. Momma Erhart was seen teaching classrooms in both Germany and Egypt. Schoolin the kids, one country at a time!

STRUT photos are in!

Yep, the photos are in! This collection was shown May 16th at STRUT, a benefit for Basic Rights of Oregon. It was a pleasure to share a new collection at a well produced and attended show. The models were great, production was smooth, and there was an amazing drag queen show after the runway! (oh and I scored two free haircuts too!)

This collection was inspired by a box full of Pendelton Wool blanket scraps that were gifted to me. I explored what would happen if I incorporated these traditional and sacred patterns into modern sportswear. My goal was for each pattern to resonate through out the garment all the while obtaining the sensitivity of modern clean lines. It was important to keep the line contemporary which called for classic cuts and colors that were easy to wear. The wool accented and finished each piece.

STRUT-in like my daddy!

Last weekend Erhart released a new collection on the runway at the STRUT fashion show. This show was really fun! Everyone was really great, energetic and relaxed, the way a fashion show should be. Johhny Shultz organized the event flawlessly and didn't skip a beat back stage. DJ Girlfriends, a long time devoted fan of Erhart, dropped A Milli and Diva for the catwalk, and the models let loose and and fun. Photos are still coming in for the event but in the mean time, enjoy this shot of DJ Girlfriends, reppin some fresh new ERHART

Saints and Sinners

I have risen early this Sunday morning in anticipation of a productive day. My new collection is going to blow up, and it will be shared with all. I belive that I have found the voice of our country's struggle, and it will be making its debut in less than a week.

After struggling with losing accounts to the economy, and investment flops, I have been in a deep soul searching. My usual smile has been easy to find only dark haunts of booze late at night. While this is no place for an inspiring artist, it helped me find the voice that I am to share.

Be it the sunshine that has arrived and is here to stay, or any other number of things, the inspriation has come with a bang. I think this quote by Oscar Wild sums it up the best; "The only difference between saints and sinners is that every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future." I have sinned and I have lived through it to share this new collection of work. It's gonna be a killer!

Until then, please enjoy some of my past work, some of it is serious, some of it is sexy. much of it has been successful. People love it, and I'm sure you will too. Below are some of my personal favorites! They are all add campaigns for various collections. The photo one chooses to use for a collection with either make or break it, it must capture the essence of the work. I think these do.
